Tryfan [Womens]

Inspired by the North Wales climbing clothing of the 1950’s and 1960’s, Tryfan is a natural fibre chunky knitted jumper made from 100% pure merino lambswool.

Wool is nature’s great insulator with properties like natural breathability and temperature regulation that make it an ideal midlayer for outdoor activities. If it can keep a whole herd of Herdwicks alive on the fells through winter, it’ll certainly keep ewe cosy (sorry) during crisp early morning bouldering sessions and claggy pre-Sunday dinner walks.

The Tryfan uses a thick, open knit to trap lots of toasty insulating air in still conditions, whilst remaining incredibly breathable under a shell. A fitted cut with a ribbed hem and cuffs enables easy layering and the stretch of the knit allows you to move unimpeded.

Unlike that ripe old fleece you keep forgetting to wash, wool is naturally odour resistant. In fact, an airing-out in a stiff breeze is all you’ll need to do to look after your Tryfan most of the time.

Not forgetting that wool is 100% natural, biodegradable and renewable (sheep produce new fleece and sheep produce new sheep… usually in spring… they gambol… you know all this…) – what’s not to like?
